About
Kati focuses the majority of her practice on representing clients involved in civil litigation. Specifically, Kati has built her practice defending pharmaceutical and products liability cases, as well as representing clients in commercial and construction litigation. She is adept at handling all phases of complex litigation, with significant experience in numerous MDL cases, both in Tennessee and across the country. She is experienced in managing complex medical records and working with experts ranging from highly-specialized physicians to professional engineers and geologists. A niche portion of her practice also includes Adoptions, both domestic and international, along with immigration issues stemming from international adoption and multi-national families. She also frequently represents clients involved in Conservatorships and Estate and Trust litigation. Kati is is admitted to practice in all state courts in Tennessee, as well as the Eastern and Middle Districts of Tennessee. She is a member of the Knoxville, Tennessee, and American Bar Associations, and enjoys being involved in the Barristers division of the Knoxville Bar Association. She is also a member of East Tennessee Lawyer’s Association for Women (ETLAW) and DRI. Currently, Kati serves as the District 3 Representative for the Young Lawyers Division of the TBA, as Membership Chair of ETLAW, and as Co-Chair of the Volunteer Breakfast Committee for the KBA Barristers. She also serves as Executive Editor of Tortsource, the quarterly publication for the TIPS membership of the ABA. Outside of the law, Kati enjoys travleing and working with the Children's Ministries at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church.
