Katharine Elizabeth Leque is an accomplished attorney based in Bozeman, Montana, specializing in personal injury law. Originally from Juneau, Alaska, Katharine brings a unique perspective to her practice, shaped by her diverse educational background. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Montana School of Law in 2012 and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Montana State University, completed in 2009. During her time in law school, Katharine distinguished herself as the Executive Editor of the Montana Law Review, where she focused on legal issues pertinent to the state. Her practical experience includes an internship with the civil litigation firm Phillips Haffey P.C. and prosecuting misdemeanor cases with the Missoula City Attorney’s Office, providing her with a strong foundation in civil litigation and personal injury defense. After passing the bar exam, Katharine began her legal career as an associate attorney at Phillips Haffey P.C., further honing her skills in civil litigation. In April 2014, she returned to Bozeman and joined Berg, Lilly & Tollefsen, P.C., where she continued to build her expertise. In 2015, Katharine established the Law Office of Katharine E. Leque, PLLC, where she focuses on personal injury law, traditional family law, collaborative family law, fertility law, and guardianship and conservatorships. She is licensed to practice in all Montana state courts and the U.S. District Court for the District of Montana. Outside of her legal practice, Katharine is actively involved in her community.
