Professional

About

I bring extensive experience in employment defense, municipal defense and consultation, and professional liability defense. I represent clients in responding to claims arising from regulatory agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Oregon Government Ethics Commission and Oregon’s Bureau of Labor and Industries, and I routinely assist employers in complying with state and federal laws and regulations with the goal of avoiding legal violations and potential litigation. Working with private and local government clients, I litigate complex factual, statutory and constitutional issues in Oregon’s state and federal courts. After graduating magna cum laude from Oregon State University and attending law school at Willamette University, I began practicing law at Hart Wagner and became a partner in 2003. In 2008 and 2009, I was recognized as a Rising Star in Oregon Super Lawyers magazine.
