Justin Stalpes has experience in complex civil litigation, including environmental contamination, medical malpractice, products liability, and pharmaceutical litigation. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Montana Trial Lawyers Association and is very active on the MTLA Amicus Committee, which writes legal briefs to the Montana Supreme Court on the behalf of consumers and injured persons. Justin also participates in the local pro bono program, representing individuals who are unable to afford an attorney. During law school, Justin served on the Montana Law Review and Montana Moot Court Team and graduated second in his class. During law school, Justin interned with Federal Magistrate Judge Lynch. Justin has co-taught US Constitutional Law at Montana State University. Justin is an avid outdoorsman who thrives on being in the mountains whether on skis, a mountain bike, or hiking. His loyal companion, Bernice the Newfoundland, is never far behind. Justin is active in the Bozeman community, volunteering for the Gallatin Valley Land Trust doing trail maintenance in the summer time.
