About
Justin Pipkins joined Thigpen, Thigpen, Engelthaler & Scott as an attorney in 2020. Justin is a native of Haleyville, Alabama, in the Free State of Winston. He graduated from the University of North Alabama in 2013 with a B.S. in History and Political Science and received his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 2017. While in law school, Justin served as the Secretary for the Military Justice Society and was a member of the Society of Scholars with the Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity. He clerked for the Honorable George D. H. McMillan, Jr. and was selected as a summer intern for the United States Navy’s highly competitive JAG internship program. Prior to joining Thigpen, Thigpen, Engelthaler & Scott, Justin was an associate attorney in central Alabama handling real estate transaction, property issues, probate matters, and domestic relations cases. Mr. Pipkins is a member of the Alabama Bar Association and is admitted to practice law in all Alabama state courts. He is also an Alabama state certified Guardian Ad Litem. He serves on the Alumni Board of Trustees for his undergraduate social fraternity and is an advocate of many philanthropical endeavors. Justin spends his free time practicing the banjo and exploring the wilderness with his golden retriever, Bradshaw.
