Joyce Leary Clark is a seasoned legal professional with over three decades of experience serving clients in southern Maine. A proud native of Saco, Joyce's early life on a small dairy farm instilled in her a strong work ethic and a commitment to community. She is a graduate of Thornton Academy and earned her A.B. degree in History from Harvard University before completing her Juris Doctor at the University of Maine School of Law in 1990. Joyce specializes in financial institutions law and is a dedicated member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA). Her active involvement with the Maine State Bar Association encompasses various sections, including Women's Law, Bankruptcy & Reorganization, Trusts & Estates, and Consumer & Financial Institutions. This breadth of expertise allows her to provide comprehensive legal support to her clients. In addition to her legal practice, Joyce is deeply engaged in her community. Since 1997, she has been a committed member of the Scarborough Kiwanis Club, where she has held leadership positions, including President. Currently, she serves as the club's Secretary and contributes her insights to the Saco Planning Board, further demonstrating her dedication to local governance and community service. Joyce began her legal career in Scarborough and, since 2015, has been an integral part of the Prescott Jamieson Murphy Law Group. She resides in Saco with her husband and their two children, balancing her professional responsibilities with family life and community involvement.
