Jonathan grew up in Alma, Arkansas before moving to Fayetteville for his undergraduate studies. After moving he spent the next 20 years in NWA, taking the time to raise a family and gain valuable experience in restaurant and retail management. Jonathan attended the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville for both his undergraduate and law degrees. Jonathan served as an officer in both the National Lawyer’s Guild and American Constitutional Society during law school, as well as being selected as a staff editor for the Journal of Food Law & Policy. He also dedicated considerable time to pro bono work, being recognized as the Legal Aid of Arkansas Volunteer of the Year. After obtaining his JD, Jonathan spent the next year working with Walmart in their claims department, learning the insurance side of personal injury and property damage torts. He was offered the opportunity to relocate to Jonesboro and provide legal assistance to the communities of Northeast Arkansas, which he gladly accepted. Jonathan spends his free time cycling, as well as being an active member of several charitable video game speedrunning groups.
