About

Jeremy G. Dongilli defends clients involved in products liability matters arising from exposure to toxic substances including asbestos, benzene, silica, lead, diacetyl, and thimerosal. He also defends the interests of pharmaceutical clients involved in multijurisdictional products liability lawsuits. Jeremy has served as lead attorney on numerous cases and is experienced with all aspects of the litigation process — and has shared his technical insights into the still-evolving field of lung cancer litigation at conferences for legal and industry professionals. Additionally, Jeremy has created and led programs to educate risk managers, insurance brokers, and clients on emerging litigation trends related to nanotechnology in consumer products. Prior to entering private practice, Jeremy worked in-house at one of the world’s leading insurance companies, handling insurance coverage matters and advising on asbestos and toxic tort defense cases. Jeremy’s extensive experience in coverage matters includes case law from various states on the application of allocation, trigger, and occurrence under primary and excess coverage, and coverage issues arising from Bermuda Form policies. Jeremy earned his Bachelor’s from Princeton University. A prominent member of the football team during his undergraduate years, he remains involved with the Princeton Football Alumni, and is also Chairman of the Membership Committee of the Princeton Area Alumni Association. Before beginning his legal training at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Jeremy served as a legislative aide for the Hon. Robert Ehrlich, member of the U.S. House of Representatives, later Governor of Maryland. He also clerked for the Hon. Harvey Weissbard on the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division, an experience which provided valuable insight into the appellate process.
