About

Jeremy Rush joined Montgomery Barnett's New Orleans office in the Spring of 2008. Mr. Rush is a native of Mobile, Alabama. After graduating from Spring Hill College in 2003, he attended and obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans. He began his law practice in 2006 focusing primarily on property damage claims arising from Hurricane Katrina, successions, and business litigation. Since joining Montgomery Barnett, Mr. Rush's practice has expanded to also encompass the defense of workers' compensation claims as well as admiralty and maritime litigation. Mr. Rush is licensed to practice and has actively practiced law in the State of Louisiana since 2006 and in the State of Alabama since 2007. He is a member in good standing of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar, the Federal Bar Association, and the New Orleans Bar Association. Mr. Rush is admitted to practice before all state courts in Louisiana and Alabama, all federal district courts in Louisiana, as well as the federal district courts in the southern districts of Alabama and Texas. He is also admitted to appear before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
