A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Jered brings a unique perspective to his practice, having served four years as an infantryman before pursuing a career in law. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado and went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law in 2018. With several years of legal experience under his belt, Jered established the Independence Legal Group to provide personalized and compassionate legal services to families and individuals. He believes that a life of service leads to fulfillment, which is reflected in his commitment to working closely with clients to identify tailored solutions for their estate planning needs. Jered is well-versed in preparing wills, trusts, and other essential documents that ensure peace of mind for his clients and their loved ones. In addition to his legal practice, Jered is actively involved in professional organizations, including the Nebraska State Bar Association, Colorado State Bar Association, and Arapahoe County Bar Association. He has also contributed his time and expertise as a veteran mentor for the Douglas County Veterans Treatment Court from 2018 to 2021.
