About

Originally from the western suburbs of Chicago, Jennifer Hunt fell in love with Nashville as an undergraduate at Vanderbilt University and decided to make Nashville her home. After graduating from Vanderbilt with a double major in neuroscience and philosophy, she was a pharmaceutical sales representative where she enjoyed developing relationships with doctors and staff in Tennessee. Her intrigue in the healthcare system laws and regulations drove her to pursue a career in law. She attended Vanderbilt Law School where she was the managing editor of Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology. Initially she aspired to be a health care law attorney, but discovered that she enjoyed the intimate collaboration afforded by elder law and estate planning between clients. As an estate planner and elder law attorney, she has the wonderful opportunity to collaborate and work with others, as well as getting the satisfaction of addressing complex legal challenges. Family has always played an important role in her life. When her grandmother fell ill her first semester of law school, she would travel home every month to help her mother care for her. In addition, she understands the difficulties inherent in caring for aging relatives, having gone through the experience of navigating Medicaid and organizing care for her grandmother. She wants to provide families with the peace and comfort in knowing their loved ones will be provided for during life’s unfortunate events. By getting to know clients and their family on a highly personal level and discussing their hopes and dream, she can provide the best plan for her clients at any point in their life.
