About
Ms. Santiago is a Philadelphia native. She attended various public schools in the city and received a Bachelor of Art from Central High School of Philadelphia. From there, she went on to matriculate at the University of Pennsylvania. Ms. Santiago graduated from Penn with a Bachelor of Art in Sociology, with a concentration in Deviance and the Sociology of Law. Ms. Santiago chose Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law as the only place to obtain her Juris Doctor. While at Temple Law, Ms. Santiago had the distinguished honor of reviving the Latin American Law Students Association. After bringing life back to this valuable organization, Ms. Santiago then served as Region IV President of the National Hispanic Bar Association Law Student Division. Prior to obtaining her law degree from Temple Law, Ms. Santiago honed her legal skills at the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office as a legal intern. After graduation, Ms. Santiago continued her prosecutorial career at the Bronx District Attorney's Office. As an Assistant District Attorney, Ms. Santiago worked exclusively on Domestic Violence cases. As an Assistant District Attorney, Ms. Santiago quickly saw how people's rights were affected by the actions of the police and those who would falsely accuse someone of a crime. After leaving her career in prosecution, Ms. Santiago worked for the Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. There she honed her writing skills as her primary responsibility was to write Opinions for the Court to be submitted to the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. During this tenure with the Court of Common, Ms. Santiago began her foray in Family Law. She began to represent clients in custody, support, and various other hearings. Just as in her criminal career, Ms. Santiago soon found success in both writing for the Court and representing her clients in Family Court. It is with these experiences that she opened her own law firm. Her relationships within the legal community have proven to make her a formidable advocate for her clients, irrespective of which court she is in. Ms. Santiago works tirelessly to ensure that her clients' rights are protected and that the client is given a voice
