Jenna Richards is a dedicated criminal defense attorney with a career focused on advocating for individuals within the criminal justice system. She has extensive experience representing clients in minor violations and misdemeanors to complex felonies and Measure 11 charges. Before joining Gilroy Napoli Short, Jenna primarily worked as a criminal defense attorney in Washington County, where she managed both court-appointed and retained cases and contributed to the county’s “Early Case Resolution (ECR)” docket. Jenna has significant courtroom experience, having appeared in criminal courts across Oregon. She approaches each case with compassion and collaboration, striving to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients. Jenna earned her Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark Law School, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, Law & Society from Pacific University, where she graduated Summa cum Laude. Jenna volunteered and interned at the Washington County Juvenile Department, the Metropolitan Public Defender’s Office, and the Oregon Innocence Project during her undergraduate and law school years. Outside of work, Jenna enjoys spending time with her loved ones, cooking, and exploring the outdoors. A Bay Area native, she loves visiting home and cheering on her favorite local teams, especially the San Jose Sharks.
