About
I am an associate with Haeggquist & Eck and focus my practice on representing employees in labor and employment litigation in federal and state courts throughout California for claims including wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and wage theft. I pride myself on my strong attention to detail and the great relationships I nurture and maintain with my clients. I approach every day as an opportunity to stand up for employees, to help right the wrongs perpetrated by employers, and to provide closure so my clients can move on with their lives with a positive outlook for their futures. A native San Diegan, I graduated in 2010 from California Western School of Law, where my dedication to public interest causes earned me a spot in the Pro Bono Honor Society. During law school, I worked at the nonprofit California Women’s Law Center in Los Angeles on matters relating to gender discrimination in education and Title IX violations (including a high-profile case against the Sweetwater Union High School District in Chula Vista), and assisted in matters relating to women’s health and lactation accommodations for working mothers. While at CWSL, I also completed an internship program in the Juvenile Dependency Division of the Office of the San Diego County Public Defender, where I assisted in the representation of foster children in court. Before joining Haeggquist & Eck, LLP, I worked at a small full-service firm where I focused primarily on employment litigation and counseled employers on a variety of compliance issues. This invaluable experience contributes to my assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of cases I now handle on behalf of aggrieved employees. In 2017, I was selected by the the San Diego Business Journal for inclusion in its “Best Of The Bar” list. I hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from California State University – Chico and a paralegal certificate from the University of San Diego.
