Jeanna Cooper is a criminal defense and domestic attorney in Greensboro, North Carolina. She has experience in a variety of criminal matters, including misdemeanors and felonies, as well as family law matters such as divorce, equitable distribution, child support, and child custody. She is passionate about protecting a criminal defendant’s constitutional rights and striving to achieve the best outcome possible for you and your family when navigating family law matters. Jeanna was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of North Carolina Wilmington where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree. She majored in Political Science and minored in criminology and pre-law. While in undergrad, she volunteered for paws4people, a non-profit service dog organization where she learned to train dogs for those in need. Additionally, Jeanna interned with the New Hanover County District Attorney’s office where she discovered her love for the law. She graduated magna cum laude from Elon University School of Law. While there, Jeanna was an active member of the Moot Court Board and Mock Trial team. Additionally, she served as a Teaching Assistant for a variety of courses, including criminal law, constitutional law, and legal methods and communication. Jeanna joined Dummit Fradin as a legal intern and returned after completing the North Carolina Bar Examination. Since joining Dummit Fradin, she has engaged in a variety of criminal and family law issues but finds working with clients to bring resolution to a difficult time in their life to be the most rewarding. In her free time, she enjoys reading thriller novels, working out at Orangetheory Fitness, and listening to true crime podcasts.
