About

I am an experienced trial lawyer who enjoys helping individuals and businesses with a wide range of complex personal and business issues. I represent individuals and business in preparing contracts or resolving related disputes. I often represent small businesses, construction professionals, finanical institutions or lenders, individuals, and real property owners. I assist construction professionals in preparing and enforcing contracts, including filing and foreclosing construction liens. Additionally, I help commercial property owners and tenants in lease negotiations, disputes and evictions. I enjoy providing educational seminars on a variety of subjects including business entity selection, social media regulation, construction contracts, licensing requirements and liens, and electronic discovery and document retention. Prior to joining Cosgrave Vergeer Kester LLP, I clerked for a Lane County Circuit Court Judge and completed internships at the District Attorney's offices in Eugene (Lane County) and Roseburg (Douglas County). As a long-time Oregonian, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two kids at Oregon's beaches and in its parks. I'm an active board member for my sons' school PSO and an the Tigard Safety Town organization. I enjoy coaching my sons' soccer teams and helps with their baseball teams. Along with my wife, I am an avid fan of the Washington State University Cougars and my wife and I are supporters of the WSU Athletic Fund.
