Jared Ashton Kobs is an accomplished attorney based in Ridgeland, Mississippi, with nearly two decades of experience dedicated exclusively to representing severely injured victims. A graduate of the Mississippi College School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2004, Jared distinguished himself by receiving two American Jurisprudence awards in Pre-Trial Practice and Legal Research and Writing. His educational journey began at the University of Mississippi, where he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in investment analysis in 2001. Jared launched his legal career as a Law Clerk for Mississippi Supreme Court Justice Michael K. Randolph, a role that honed his legal acumen and understanding of complex litigation. In 2006, he founded Kobs Law Firm, PLLC, and later became a founding partner of Kobs & Philley, PLLC, alongside Benjamin N. Philley. Throughout his career, Jared has successfully secured tens of millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts for his clients across a diverse range of civil litigation, including personal injury, medical malpractice, insurance disputes, and railroad accidents.
