James I. Murray has almost four decades of legal experience, particularly in the realm of real estate and commercial transactions. He places a high value on understanding his clients' needs and his role in enhancing their objectives, and always makes it a point to be accessible to clients. Mr. Murray is a shareholder and serves on the firm's Executive and Compensation Committees. More Than a Lawyer While Lexington has been home for more than 30 years, Mr. Murray was raised in Oklahoma and studied in Kansas, the Netherlands and Massachusetts. He lived in San Francisco during his active duty with the Coast Guard. Mr. Murray likes to travel. In addition to trips throughout the United States, he traveled to East Germany, Poland and Russia when he was a student, parts of the Far East before beginning law school and has taken numerous trips to Western Europe more recently.
