About

Hello, my name is James and I am an immigration attorney in the D.C. metro area. Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile. Let me first say that it would be honor to assist you with navigating the complex, and at times even daunting process that is the U.S. immigration system. Since my admission to the bar in 2015, I have primarily represented and defended individuals that are in removal proceedings. Prior to entering private practice, I completed two post-graduate fellowships, one with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Office of the General Counsel and another with the U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary Committee-Subcommittee on Immigration and Border Security. While in law school, I worked in our immigration defense clinic and also interned with a foreign embassy where I developed an intimate understanding of how the consular process works. I strongly believe that the variety of immigration experience I have acquired has equipped me with a diverse skill-set that enables me to more effectively and zealously advocate on your behalf. Presently, I have represented individuals before the Board of Immigration Appeals, Federal Circuit courts, as well as before different immigration courts across the country within the Executive Office for Immigration Review; this includes immigration courts in Louisiana, Texas, Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Georgia. I offer many immigration related services, including but not limited to: Asylum, Waivers of Inadmissibility, Temporary Protected Status ("TPS"), Deferred Action for recent Childhood Arrivals ("DACA"), Motions to Reopen, Cancellation of Removal, Adjustment of Status, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, U-visas, VAWA, Removal of Conditions on Permanent Residency, NACARA Special Rule Cancellation of Removal, Family Petitions, Naturalization, and Federal and administrative appeals. Thank you again for considering to allow me the honor to serve you as you pursue your own version of the American Dream. With me, you will always receive ALL of the relevant information that pertains to your case, both the good and the bad. Because it is only with honest counsell, that one can truly make the most well-informed decision possible for both themselves and their loved ones. I wish you all the best in your immigration journey. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of any help whatsoever.
