About
I am a proud third generation Rowan County attorney and am licensed to practice law in both North Carolina and Virginia. I focus primarily on Driving While Impaired defense, criminal defense, and general trial litigation. To date, I have tried hundreds of cases to verdict between the Superior, District, and Small Claims courts. Please refer to the "Cases" section on this page for a sampling of positive results I have been able to achieve for my clients. While I focus on DWI defense, I also have a succesful background prosecuting large personal injury cases. Recently, my firm settled a wrongful death and personal injury claim for $1,250,. I am fortunate enough to have a law firm that encourages specialized training. I have taught lawyers around the State on DWI motions practice, wrote and taught a manual on bridging the gap between drunk driving and drugged driving, and taught on the various benefits or uses of continuous alcohol monitoring to help mitigate serious DWI cases.
