About

I represent California businesses in an array of disputes involving commercial, real estate, bankruptcy and intellectual property matters. For clients with real estate-related controversies, I resolve issues of lien priority among deeds of trusts and mortgages and other lien issues arising under the Civil Code (e.g., mechanic’s liens), as well as construction defect claims and other matters. I also have experence bringing and defending commercial and residential unlawful detainer actions in San Francisco and the Bay Area. I have obtained numerous preliminary injunctions and temporary restraining orders against nonjudicial foreclosures. In bankruptcy matters, I represent trustees and creditors in preference actions, avoidance actions, fraudulent transfers actions, and other claims arising under bankruptcy law and state law. I also litigate contract, copyright, trademark, and false advertising claims on behalf of California businesses.
