I haven't just studied these things in books. I have litigated just about every type of document that I draft and transaction that I handle. That means I have first-hand real world experience with what really works - what will protect my clients' interests, keep them out of court, and stand up in court when litigation cannot be avoided - and what won't. Most of my work has been helping banks, other businesses and individuals negotiate, document and complete business transactions and helping businesses and individuals resolve business disputes through litigation or mediation. I also help clients form, organize, buy and sell businesses. I also help individuals plan for the orderly disposition of their estates, and I help with the administration and distribution of estates. I am a 1987 graduate of the University of Oklahoma, where I received a Bachelors of Business Administration degree (with Distinction) in Accounting, and I received my Juris Doctor degree, with Honors, from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1990, where I was a member of the Order of the Coif. I am admitted to practice before the Oklahoma Supreme Court and all trial and appellate courts of the State of Oklahoma, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Oklahoma, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
