J. Brian Hyneman focuses his legal practice on representing insurance companies and their insured clients in a variety of civil litigation matters, including insurance coverage disputes, premises liability cases, motor vehicle accident claims, and bad faith insurance litigation. He is licensed to practice law in Mississippi and Tennessee, as well as in several federal courts including the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi, the Western District of Tennessee, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. With a wealth of trial experience, Brian is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and has successfully tried over 60 cases throughout his career. Additionally, he has held leadership positions within the legal community, serving as the past-chairman of the Litigation Section for the Mississippi Bar. Outside of his legal practice, Brian is actively involved in his community, serving on the Board of Alderman for the City of Oxford where he represents Ward 3. He resides in Oxford with his wife, Amanda, and their two sons, Henry and Howard.
