Holly Portier is from Atlanta, Georgia. She attended the State University of West Georgia and graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in English. She taught high school English for four years before attending law school at Georgia State University; she graduated cum laude in 2008. While in law school, Mrs. Portier competed on the school's mock trial team; her team won first place at the NACDL Competition. She clerked for Justice Hunstein, Georgia Supreme Court and for Judge Thelma Cummings Wyatt Moore, Fulton County Superior Court. Since 2008, Mrs. Portier has practiced in the area of workers' compensation. Personally, Mrs. Portier volunteers with the Atlanta Junior League and her church. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Bailey and their son, Ted.
