Hassan Ahmad is a distinguished attorney based in York, NY, and a founding partner at Sivin, Miller & Roche LLP. He earned his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law in 2004, where he distinguished himself by receiving the CALI Award for Excellence in Criminal Trial Advocacy. During his time in law school, Mr. Ahmad gained invaluable experience working for Bronx County Supreme Court Justice Caesar Cirigliano and the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. Mr. Ahmad began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, where he spent five years prosecuting a wide array of cases. His commitment to community and justice led to his appointment by the Honorable District Attorney Charles Hynes to a committee aimed at fostering tolerance and understanding among Brooklyn’s diverse communities, including the Muslim, Christian, and Jewish populations. Since establishing his firm in 2009, Mr. Ahmad has focused on criminal defense, civil rights, and personal injury law.
