About

Gregory R. Weyer is a dedicated Philadelphia criminal defense lawyer who fights for the rights of those accused of assaults, drug charges, gun charges, sex offenses, violation of probation hearings, and other criminal matters. Mr. Weyer graduated cum laude from Hamilton College in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctor at the Temple University Beasley School of Law, where Mr. Weyer was awarded the Victor A. Jaczun Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. Mr. Weyer has invaluable experience both in criminal law and trial advocacy. Early in his legal career, Mr. Weyer worked as an intern in the District Attorney's office, learning how prosecutors think and work. Soon afterwards, Mr. Weyer began working with the established criminal defense attorneys at Alva & Shuttleworth, LLC. Here, Mr. Weyer discovered his true passion: defending the accused. When he is not working, Mr. Weyer is a Big Brother with Philadelphia’s Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeastern Pennsylvania, as well as an avid fan of Major League Baseball. He enjoys playing volleyball, board games, and poker.
