Gregory R. Kim is a seasoned corporate and securities attorney based in Honolulu, HI, with over 30 years of experience in guiding emerging growth and established public companies through complex legal landscapes. As a partner at Convergent Law Group, Gregory specializes in joint ventures and personal injury law, providing clients with expert counsel on private and public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, SEC filings, venture capital, and business formations. Before his tenure at Convergent Law Group, Gregory co-founded Vantage Counsel LLC, one of the pioneering virtual law firms, and served as a partner at Virtual Law Partners LLP. His extensive career also includes 16 years at Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel, where he honed his skills in corporate law. Gregory began his legal journey in 1988 with Pillsbury, Madison & Sutro (now Pillsbury Winthrop), following a prestigious clerkship with the Honorable Herbert Y. C. Choy of the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. Beyond his legal practice, Gregory is deeply committed to community service and entrepreneurship. He is a founding board member of HiBEAM, an accelerator for emerging technology companies, and a founding director of the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Hawaii. His involvement with academic institutions includes advisory roles at the University of Hawaii's Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship and Chaminade University’s Hogan School of Business.
