About
Meet Gregg Austin Knutson, a distinguished attorney specializing in personal injury law based in Benton, Arkansas. With a robust academic foundation that includes a bachelor's degree in business management and an M.B.A. from the University of Arkansas, Gregg further honed his legal acumen by earning his law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law. Gregg's legal journey began during his time in law school, where he served as a law clerk with notable firms such as Hilburn, Calhoon, Harper, Pruniski & Calhoun, Ltd. and Eichenbaum, Scott, Miller, Liles & Heister, P.A. After gaining invaluable experience, he joined Wallace & Hamner as an associate, where he achieved a significant landmark by persuading the Arkansas Supreme Court to amend the mechanic's lien law concerning the distribution of proceeds from foreclosure sales, as documented in Simmons First National Bank v. Bob Callahan Services, Inc., 340 Ark. 692, 13 S.W.3d 570 (2000). Throughout his tenure, he adeptly handled a variety of cases, including divorce, custody disputes, personal injury claims, workers’ compensation issues, and business law matters. In 2002, Gregg established his own practice, Knutson Law Firm, and diligently served clients as a solo practitioner in Little Rock until 2012, when he relocated to Saline County. Since then, he has become a familiar face in the courtrooms of Saline and Pulaski Counties, advocating for clients across a broad spectrum of legal challenges. With over thirty appeals to both the Arkansas Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals under his belt, Gregg’s expertise spans both litigation and transactional law. Residing in Benton with his family, Gregg is not just dedicated to his profession but also to his community. He actively participates on the board of the Saline County Kiwanis Club and contributes to the First United Methodist Church in Benton. As a proud graduate of the 2014 class of the Saline County Leadership program, Gregg continues to blend his passion for law with a commitment to making a positive impact in his community.
