His experience also includes representing members of the Colorado River Indian Tribes in both civil and criminal matters. From 1989 to 1993, Gordon lived in New York City, where he was appointed Associate General Counsel for the New York City Department of Probation. In this role, he supervised probation violation prosecutions in Queens and represented the Department in civil and criminal motions and appeals throughout the city's courts. Since returning to Phoenix in 1994, Gordon has concentrated on criminal and DUI defense, successfully representing over 5,000 clients and conducting hundreds of jury trials.
