Geoffrey D. Lawrence is a 1978 cum laude graduate of West Chester University and a 1986 graduate of University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. A partner of The Chartwell Law Offices, LLP, Mr. Lawrence began his legal career in Michigan , where he litigated various liability defense and workers' compensation matters. In 1992 he became associated with the Philadelphia firm Post & Schell, where he devoted his practice to handling workers' compensation defense matters. Mr. Lawrence regularly speaks to client groups on all aspects of Workers' Compensation Law and has given numerous seminars for the Philadelphia Insurance Society. He holds the highest available peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He has represented every type of employer entity including: municipal, police and firefighters, retail, farming, manufacturing, hospital/healthcare, pharmacy, trucking, construction, restaurant, catering and custodial services. He has specialized interest in workers' compensation claims involving temporary employment agencies, heart disease, hearing loss, latex allergy, subrogation/third party, pensions/offsets and immigration issues
