Since graduating with his Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1991—where he won the American Jurisprudence Award—Frank A. Malocu has dedicated more than three decades to serving Dayton’s legal needs. Admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1991, he immediately opened a private practice opposite the county courthouse and was appointed Magistrate under Judge George Gounaris from 1992 to 2000. Frank focuses on divorce, criminal defense, OVI/DUI, traffic law, and personal injury, earning the Montgomery County Appointed Counsel Award for indigent-defense work and the National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys’ Top 10 Attorney Award. He has argued influential cases in the Ohio Supreme Court, and his peers have invited him into the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 and Ohio Super Lawyers.
