Professional Experience: For over 15 years, Ms. Askar has focused on the area of immigration law. She represents clients in deportation/removal proceedings before the Immigration Court in Ohio as well as the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS). In addition, she has prepared appeals with the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals as well as Writs of Mandamus in Federal Court. Education: Ms. Askar earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.) degrees with honors, cum laude, from Youngstown State University. She obtained her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Capital Law School in Columbus, Ohio in 1998. Membership & Activities: Ms. Askar was admitted to the California State Bar in 1999. She is licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of California, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and all U.S. Immigration Courts. She is also a member of the California Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
