Erwin Jay Shustak is a founding partner and the managing partner of Shustak & Partners, P.C., where he leads the firm’s Litigation and Arbitration Department in San Diego, California. With a robust background in business litigation, Mr. Shustak specializes in complex trials, arbitrations, and appeals, particularly in the areas of securities and financial fraud disputes. He has overseen and managed hundreds of litigations and arbitrations in both Federal and State Courts and arbitration forums nationwide. Throughout his career, Mr. Shustak has represented a diverse array of clients, including public and private companies, financial institutions, governmental agencies such as the FDIC, manufacturing firms, broker-dealers, hedge funds, and defrauded investors. His extensive litigation experience encompasses a wide range of issues, including breach of contract, employment disputes, unfair competition, and intellectual property matters. Recognized for his legal excellence, Mr. Shustak has received numerous accolades, including being named one of San Diego’s “Best of the Bar” and a “Super Lawyer”® multiple times. He has also been featured in prestigious publications such as American Lawyer and Corporate Counsel. A graduate of Kaye Scholer Fierman Hays & Handler in New York City, Mr. Shustak is admitted to practice in California, New York, and New Jersey, as well as in various Federal Courts, including the United States Supreme Court. He actively contributes to the legal community as an arbitrator and member of several professional associations. Residing in Del Mar, California, Mr. Shustak enjoys sailing, skiing, and engaging in community service and pro bono projects.
