A native of a small town in the Black Hills of South Dakota, Eric brings a grounded perspective to his practice. He earned a degree in Government from Augustana College, which laid the foundation for his commitment to public service. His journey took him to Washington, D.C., where he played a pivotal role in launching and overseeing AmeriCorps programs nationwide. Eventually drawn to the vibrant culture of the Pacific Northwest, Eric made Portland his home. In addition to his legal practice, Eric is deeply committed to community service and has held various leadership positions within the Multnomah Bar Association, including President of the Young Lawyer Section and Chair of the Pro Bono Pledge Task Force. His contributions to the legal community have been recognized with the MBA's Award of Merit and the prestigious Pro Bono Award. He also served as the secretary for the Oregon State Bar's Judicial Administration Committee. When not advocating for his clients, Eric prioritizes family time, enjoying outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and skiing with his son.
