Eric J. Krathwohl, a managing director and member/shareholder of the firm, concentrates on energy, telecommunications and regulatory matters, including renewable energy projects and corporate and finance work for electric, gas water utility, and telecommunications companies. For over thirty years, Eric has had an active practice before the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities and Department of Telecommunications and Cable and many other regulatory commissions, having represented energy and telecommunications companies in scores of adjudicatory and rulemaking proceedings throughout the northeast U.S. and beyond. Also, his practice has included representation of clients in numerous commercial transactions. He has been active in matters relating to restructuring of the electric, gas and telecommunications industries, and increasing competition in those industries. Eric has represented clients in several matters before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and has been a speaking panelist with top industry and government officials at conferences on a variety of energy, telecommunications, and water issues. He also has considerable experience in a variety of corporate and contractual matters in the telecommunications and energy fields.
