Emily devotes her practice exclusively to matrimonial and family law and has done so since her admission to the New Jersey State Bar in 2006. Emily is an experienced attorney who handles a variety of family law matters such as: complex equitable distribution cases, custody and child support applications, domestic violence (Temporary and Final Restraining Orders) trials, post-divorce applications and prenuptial agreements cases. Emily is regularly appointed as a Guardian Ad Litem to represent the best interests of children in custody and parenting time matters. Emily has extensive courtroom experience throughout northern and central New Jersey. She regularly appears in Bergen, Morris, Essex, Somerset, Hudson, Sussex and Middlesex Counties. Emily is a member of the Morris and Bergen County Bar Associations. Emily serves as a panelist on the Matrimonial Early Settlement Panel in Morris County. Additionally, Emily provides pro bono legal representation for victims of domestic violence through the Battered Women’s Legal Advocacy Program. Emily is President of the Morris County Chapter of BW NICE. She previously volunteered for the Morris County Litigant Self Help Program. Emily was recognized as a New Jersey SuperLawyer’s “Rising Star” in 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016. Additionally, Emily was recognized by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys in 2016 for client satisfaction. Emily attended Monmouth University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English while participating in the Honors Program. She received her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. While attending law school, she was selected to participate in the Center for Social Justice Family Law Clinic. Thereafter, she served a judicial clerkship in Hunterdon County Superior Court, Chancery Division, Family Part with the Honorable Stephen B. Rubin.
