About

Emily focuses her practice on family law and domestic relations and the defense of general liability matters. Prior to joining HBS, Emily was an Associate at a boutique family law firm where she gained experience in divorce, child custody modification, adoption, and guardian ad litem matters. She worked with attorneys, clients, guardians, and all involved parties to reach the most favorable resolution for her clients. In addition, she worked for a plaintiff’s firm representing clients in mass tort litigation, specifically in “forever chemicals” contamination lawsuits. This experience gives her a holistic approach to her defense process. Emily earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Charleston School of Law where she graduated as a presidential honors scholar. While at law school, she served as an academic success fellow where she mentored first year law students, competed in several constitutional law competitions as a member of the Moot Court Board, and was a student member of the James L.
