Elizabeth Ann Thornsbury is a dedicated energy law attorney based in Lexington, Kentucky, where she has made her home since moving from her native Southern West Virginia to pursue her education at the University of Kentucky. With a strong commitment to both her community and her legal career, Ms. Thornsbury has developed a robust practice focused on the intricacies of energy law, reflecting her passion for sustainable and responsible energy solutions. Her engagement with youth programs is a testament to her commitment to service, having spent two impactful summers with AmeriCorps Energy Express, where she worked diligently to support underprivileged children. While at the University of Kentucky, Ms. Thornsbury demonstrated her leadership abilities as Co-President of the National Middle School Association, UK Chapter, and served as a Student Ambassador for the National Reading Association.
