About
I was born and raised in Atlanta. I attended Georgia State University for both my undergraduate degree and my law degree. I began my legal career with a boutique, general practice firm in North Atlanta where I gained invaluable courtroom experience. That experience served as a stepping stone toward my work with a large civil litigation firm in Midtown and ultimately my decision to join the firm of Taylor, Feil, Harper, Lumsden & Hess, P.C. located in Buckhead. My practice involves all aspects of commercial litigation, including contract disputes, restrictive covenants, trade secrets, business torts, insurance coverage, secured transaction and real estate litigation. I also defend insurers against premise liability claims. When not lawyering, I serve as President and Chairman of Maji Mazuri USA — a nonprofit raising funds for projects in Kenya helping to alleviate the hardships associated with a poverty-stricken life.
