A graduate of Pepperdine University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 1993, Mr. Barker combines his legal expertise with a strong foundation in education, holding a Master’s degree from The Citadel and a Bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech. His diverse academic background, coupled with his military service as a commissioned officer in the United States Navy, has instilled in him a strong sense of discipline and dedication to service. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Barker is an active member of the community. He serves as Senior Warden of the Vestry at Christ Church Mount Pleasant, where he also contributes musically as a choir member and drummer in the contemporary praise band. Together with his wife, Dr. Lorna Barker, he is dedicated to guiding their four children into adulthood, embodying the values of family and resilience that he champions in his work.
