Ms. Parson represents employers in both federal and state courts, and before administrative entities such as the EEOC, ICRC, Evansville Human Rights Commission, and the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development. She concentrates her practice in labor and employment defense, including all types of civil rights and employment-related claims. She also emphasizes her practice on the development of handbooks and policies for employers. Additionally, Ms. Parson participates in FLSA audits on behalf of employers and defense of FLSA class action litigation. Ms. Parson is admitted in both Indiana and Wisconsin. Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins in 2006, Ms. Parson practiced at two other large law firms, where she represented companies in connection with a wide variety of litigation matters, including employment discrimination, product liability, toxic tort, personal injury, construction litigation, and general commercial litigation disputes. Originally from Schererville, Indiana, Ms. Parson received her undergraduate degree from Valparaiso University, with honors. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law, cum laude, where she participated in the Frederick Green Moot Court and Hispanic National Bar Association Moot Court.
