Donald W. Garner founded the LL.M. Law Group in 2003. Mr. Garner obtained his Master of International Law degree cum laude while on a Fulbright Scholarship for the European Union in 2001. While pursuing his LL.M. he wrote an award winning international trade treatise and was elected class president of the LL.M. students. He obtained his Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2000 where he served as Chief Justice of the Moot Court program. Don is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and a respected member of the Chicago legal community. Don was the 2006-07 President of the Rotary Club of Chicago, the world’s first Rotary Club established in Chicago in 1905. He is the Past President and current Consular Corps Liaison of the Chicago Chapter of the Fulbright Association and has recently formed the International Volunteer Network of Chicago in partnership with the Chicago Consular Corps and Chicago International Trade Commissioners Association. Don’s work, passion, and training are daily devoted to bringing people together from all over the world. This is why the Chicago Sun-Times declared in 2006 that Don Garner is a “top immigration attorney.” He has appeared on national and international television, radio and newspapers. Don is called upon for advice and law lectures by many local and multinational businesses and governmental groups.
