Mr. Spence, is a seasoned trial attorney with over 30 years experience. His practice is concentrated in construction contract law. He has sought and obtained multi-million dollar settlements, arbitration awards and judgments on behalf of his clients. Mr. Spence is experienced in construction contract negotiations, resolution of on-site in progress disputes, termination issues, and in bringing and defending construction contract claims. In addition to being an experienced litigator, Mr. Spence has been selected as an arbitrator and mediator in numerous construction cases. He has also testified in several cases as an expert witness on attorney's fees in construction litigation matters. Mr. Spence has written articles on contract review and the defense of payment bond claims for construction industry publications. He has also presented industry group seminars on mechanics' liens, surety bonds, and administrative law, as well as federal, state, and local government construction contracts.
