Denise Marie Haack is a dedicated attorney based in Colorado, specializing in contract disputes and focused on empowering her clients through strategic legal solutions. Growing up in Davis, California, Denise was inspired by her father, a criminal defense lawyer, which set the foundation for her legal career. She earned her degree in Government from California State University, having studied at both Sonoma State and Sacramento State campuses. During her college years, she gained invaluable hands-on experience as a legal assistant in her father's law office, deepening her passion for the law. Denise continued her legal education at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she excelled in her studies and completed impactful internships, including a position in the Felony Division of the Denver Public Defender's Office and as a student law clerk at the Denver County Juvenile Court. With over a decade of litigation experience under her belt, Denise initially practiced a broad spectrum of civil litigation, encompassing family law and contract disputes. Recently, she has shifted her focus towards preventive law, aiming to keep clients out of the courtroom. Denise now specializes in estate planning, oil and gas contracts, small business contracts, and succession planning. The only courtroom appearances she makes are in landlord/tenant disputes, reflecting her commitment to helping clients navigate their legal needs proactively. Outside of her legal practice, Denise enjoys exploring the stunning Colorado outdoors with her husband and two children, as well as gardening, cooking, reading, and volunteering in her community.
