About

Dayna J. Lefebvre is a shareholder at Becker, Hickey & Poster, S.C., Milwaukee, and practices in the areas of elder law, special needs planning, estate planning, guardianships, and probate and trust administration. She received her J.D. from Marquette University Law School in 2013 and her Bachelor's Degree from Marquette University in 2011. She returned to Marquette University Law School as an adjunct professor in August 2021 to teach Federal Taxation of Gifts and Estates and has returned each year to teach Estate Planning. Dayna serves on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and co-chairs several committees for the Chapter. She also currently serves on the Insurance and Member Benefits Committee for the State Bar of Wisconsin. and previously served as Co-Chair of the Elder Law Section of the Milwaukee Bar Association from 2015 to 2019. Dayna speaks and writes extensively on the topics of elder law and special needs planning and was named a Rising Star in Elder Law (2016- 2022) by Super Lawyers and a Ones to Watch in Elder Law and Trusts and Estates by Best Lawyers (2020-2022). In her free time, she also volunteers with the Wills for Heroes program, Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic, and Ozaukee County Power of Attorney Clinics.
