David is a graduate of UC Hastings College of The Law, and completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Southern California, earning a B.A., magna cum laude, in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience. While attending law school, David served as Senior Development Editor of the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly. His student note, Spreading the Wealth: Is Asset Forfeiture the Key to Enticing Local Agencies to Enforce Federal Drug Laws?, was published in the Winter 2012 issue of the Quarterly. David was a founding member of the UC Hastings Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union. He served as President of the Federalist Society, Co-President of the International & Comparative Law Society, and was a teaching assistant in the school’s Legal Writing & Research department. David also received the Witkin and CALI Awards for Academic Excellence in the fields of Negotiation and Settlement, Arbitration, and Legal Writing.
