Mr. Ferry was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware. After attending Salesianum School, he received a bachelor’s degree from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. In addition to his undergraduate degree, Mr. Ferry also has a Master of Instruction from the University of Delaware and a Juris Doctorate degree from Delaware Law School. Prior to joining Ferry Joseph, P.A., David worked as an English teacher in AmeriCorps. He now serves as counsel for the school where he previously taught. His fictional short story, "One True Line", was also featured in the November 2023 issue of The Pennsylvania Lawyer magazine. Mr. Ferry primarily practices in the areas of estate planning and administration, as well as elder law. In 2025, he was recognized by his peers as one of the top lawyers in the state in Delaware Today magazine. Outside of the office, David is an avid sports enthusiast. He has completed numerous long-distance endurance events, including the Ironman triathlon.
