David D. Bravo is a seasoned attorney based in New Orleans, LA, specializing in insurance and personal injury law. His journey as an advocate began in high school, where he excelled as a nationally competitive Cross Examination debater. During this formative period, David honed his persuasive speaking and research skills at prestigious institutions such as Dartmouth College, The University of Toledo, and Loyola University. His accolades include winning the Louisiana High School State Championship and securing a top ten finish at the City Championship for Extemporaneous Speaking for three consecutive years. He further showcased his skills in college by winning LSU’s Persuasive Speech Contest. Continuing his legal education at Loyola Law School, David distinguished himself as a swing oralist on the Moot Court National Team, earning a scholarship for his talent. His team’s hard work culminated in a Regional Championship victory and a fifth-place finish nationally. After earning his law degree, David embarked on a rigorous career as a prosecutor in Orleans Parish, where he quickly ascended to the role of Senior Trial Attorney. In this capacity, he managed serious felony cases, including death penalty cases, and tried nearly one hundred cases, demonstrating his ability to perform under pressure by completing three jury trials in a single day. Transitioning to private practice, David spent time at a downtown insurance defense firm, gaining valuable insight into how insurance companies assess cases. However, he discovered his true fulfillment came from advocating for individuals rather than large corporations. For the past 12 years, he has exclusively represented individuals and small businesses, leveraging his extensive trial experience to secure justice for his clients. David remains committed to refining his advocacy skills, having recently participated in a month-long program at the Trial Lawyer’s College at Thunderhead Ranch in Wyoming, founded by renowned trial lawyer Gerry Spence.
