I believe that the most successful people are able to balance their individual goals within a team concept. At Bonita Vista High School near San Diego, I was first team all-league in football and soccer, and both teams competed in the playoffs my senior year. At the University of California, Santa Barbara, I worked hard and achieved an overall grade point average of 3.78, which was in the top 4% of my graduating class, and graduated with "High Honors". In law school at the University of California, Davis (which is typically ranked in the top 25 law schools in the United States), I participated in many extra-curricular activities and ultimately graduated in the top 20% of my class. I have been practicing law with Schlecht, Shevlin & Shoenberger, ALC, in Palm Springs since 1992. Our law firm is the oldest firm in the area, having been formed in 1951. I have been a shareholder of our law firm for over ten years, and my areas of practice include business, real estate, banking and finance, Indian law, litigation, and many others. I am currently a Commissioner on the Palm Springs Parks and Recreation Commission, the President of the Palm Springs Lion's Club, on the Board of Directors and a coach/referee for AYSO soccer, a volunteer for Law Day in local school system and more. I enjoy people and look forward to serving your legal needs.
