Daniel B. Markind is a highly experienced attorney with over 35 years of expertise in airport, real estate, energy, and corporate transactional law. He has represented some of the largest corporations in the United States in complex matters involving purchase, sale, financing, leasing, zoning, land use, and development. Additionally, Mr. Markind has played a pivotal role in the formation and growth of numerous start-up and smaller entities. As the former General Counsel for the Philadelphia International Airport, he currently serves as outside general counsel to multiple airports throughout the Northeast and across the nation, providing legal guidance on aviation-related activities and infrastructure redevelopment. His significant contributions to the field include active involvement with state and federal agencies to facilitate infrastructure projects funded through various public and private sources. Mr. Markind is recognized as a leading authority on the intersection of aviation law and energy law. In recent years, he has developed a sub-specialty in energy law, focusing on renewable energy and oil and gas development. He is a sought-after speaker and writer on topics such as Marcellus Shale and energy issues, and frequently testifies before legislative bodies, including the Pennsylvania State Senate.
